§ 2.2. Metallurgical department

    The Department consists of four special-purpose teams: technological, hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and design ones. 5 members of the Department have a scientific degree of a Candidate of Technical Science.
    The principal task of this Department is development of mechanical and technological parts for metallurgical, concentrating and other operations at different stages of their designing.

    The department has modern equipment and software. The work is based on such software products as AutoPLANT, developed by Rebis Company, as well as on data base "Servis" adapted for software package AutoPLANT97.
    The design team uses programmes CADMECH 2000 and Mechanical Desktop (both Autodesk Company).
