§ 2.10. Marketing, information and patenting department

    The department consists of several teams: marketing, scientific and technical information, information about foreign economic activities, patenting team, translations bureau and research library.
    Major tasks of the department are: study of design and research services market, provision of new information, regarding markets of product made on the base of nickel, copper, cobalt, PGM, for the Institute management, M&MC Norilsk Nickel JS and its divisions, as well as for outside customers. The department also works at the above mentioned markets development forecasts. It works with foreign partners, is busy with patenting and licensing. A special team provides the Institute stuff with translations and the research library offers all types of library services.
