    Accreditation Certificate of Conformity with the requirements of Analytical Laboratories Accreditation System and International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 was issued to the Institute' Experimental Analytical Centre (EAC). Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology confirmed the EAC' technical competency and self-sufficiency.

Our achievements
    In accordance with Resolution ? 96 of the Russian Federation Government dated February 20, 2006, Gipronickel Institute JS' and Kola MMC JS' specialists have been awarded the Russian Government Prize in Science and Technology and given the rank of Laureate of Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology for developments and implementation of new processes in Ni vapor metallurgy, technology and facilities for production of materials with high consumer properties.

Our achievements
    International and major Russian metallurgic exhibition "Metal-Expo'2005" was held in Moscow on November 15-18, 2005.
Double-zone Vaniukov Furnace developed at Gipronickel Institute was highly appreciated, and the Institute was rewarded with Silver Medal.

    1. Double-zone Vanyukov furnace designed by Gipronickel engineers has been successfully pilot tested at the Severonickel combine. The furnace was operating in continuous mode for over 30 days.
Pilot tests have proved high efficiency and good operational performance of two-zone unit. Obtained results give us every right to claim priority of using a furnace, producing within one unit rich matte and waste slag with low contents of non-ferrous and PG metals, for treatment of copper and copper-sulfide feed. Superiority of such technology over foreign advanced processes is beyond any doubt.
The pilot furnace will be shutdown for inspection in July.

2. On 22 June 2005, at the 27th session of Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of CIS state reference standard (çóï 8382-2003) of cobalt oxide developed by engineers of Gipronickel Institute, JSC was declared to become the interstate reference standard.
