    Gipronickel Institute's Quality Management System is certificated in compliance with ISO-9001 and GOST R-9001.

    Background
    1984 - awarded the Order of Labour Red Banner;
    2001 and 2002 - a prize-winner in Contest for Russian Design and Exploration Organizations;
    2002 and 2004 - won two other competitions, i. e. 'Quality of Saint-Petersburg' and 'Made in Saint-Petersburg'.

    The Institute is proud of having eight Doctors of Sciences, with five Professors, two Academicians and one Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences thereof, as well as 65 Candidates of Technical Sciences among its staff.
    Gipronickel holds 33 patents.

    Scientific and research results obtained by the Institute's employees are published in major foreign and domestic metallurgy-oriented journals on a regular basis. Apart from that, Gipronickel issues its own scientific proceedings. Our engineers are active participants in both international and Russian exhibitions and conferences dedicated to the problems of non-ferrous and precious metallurgies.
